1UpEDU Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Educational Program Terms and Conditions

Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the 1UpEDU Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Educational Program. By enrolling in the program, you agree to comply with these terms, which may be updated periodically.

1. Program Participation
1.1 Eligibility: Participants must meet the age and academic level requirements specified in the program description.
1.2 Registration: All participants must register through the official 1UpEDU portal and provide accurate information.
1.3 Participation Guidelines: Participants are expected to engage in all activities and assignments, adhering to the rules of conduct outlined in Section 3.

2. Program Content
2.1 Curriculum: The SEL program includes lessons on self-awareness, social skills, emotional management, decision-making, and responsible behavior.
2.2 Materials: All instructional materials, including digital resources and activity guides, are the property of 1UpEDU and may not be shared, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

3. Code of Conduct
3.1 Respect and Inclusivity: Participants are expected to respect others' opinions and contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
3.2 Bullying and Harassment: Any form of bullying, harassment, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics will result in immediate removal from the program.
3.3 Online Etiquette: For virtual sessions, participants must use appropriate language, follow the instructions of facilitators, and maintain a professional demeanor.

4. Privacy and Data Protection
4.1 Data Collection: 1UpEDU collects and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
4.2 Use of Data: Personal data will be used solely for educational purposes and to enhance program quality. Information will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law.

5. Attendance and Participation
5.1 Attendance: Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions. In case of absence, it is the participant’s responsibility to catch up on missed work.
5.2 Active Engagement: The program emphasizes active participation. Participants who do not engage consistently may be asked to leave the program.

6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Copyright: All program materials, including curricula, handouts, and digital content, are copyrighted and the intellectual property of 1UpEDU.
6.2 Content Sharing: Unauthorized use, duplication, or distribution of any content provided by the program is prohibited.

7. Program Fees and Refund Policy
7.1 Fees: Participants must pay any applicable program fees before the start date.
7.2 Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted in writing at least 7 days before the program begins. Refunds will not be granted after the program start date, except in exceptional cases at the discretion of 1UpEDU.

8. Liability and Indemnity
8.1 Program Risks: Participants acknowledge that certain activities within the program may involve physical, emotional, or social challenges.
8.2 Release of Liability: 1UpEDU and its staff are not liable for any personal injury, emotional distress, or damages resulting from participation in the program.
8.3 Indemnity: Participants agree to indemnify 1UpEDU from any claims or losses arising from their participation, breach of these terms, or violation of applicable laws.

9. Termination of Participation
9.1 Termination by 1UpEDU: 1UpEDU reserves the right to terminate a participant’s enrollment at any time for failure to comply with these terms or for conduct that disrupts the learning environment.
9.2 Voluntary Withdrawal: Participants may withdraw from the program by providing written notice to 1UpEDU.

10. Amendments to Terms
1UpEDU reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant changes and are encouraged to review the terms periodically.

11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which 1UpEDU operates. Any disputes arising from participation in the program shall be resolved in accordance with applicable laws.
